Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co.
Wins International Gold Medal – in First Year

Lawrenceburg Bourbon Company has earned a Gold Medal at the prestigious American
Distilling Institute, International Spirits Competition.

Lawrenceburg Bourbon’s, One Cask Bourbon Whiskey scored 94/100 points, and was
ranked as “exceptional” by ADI judges. “Just beautiful, shows age nicely…leaves a golden glow
and harmonizing finishing notes. Bright fruit, warm, golden, easy flow between nose and
palate.”

Lawrenceburg Bourbon, One Cask Series (OCS) is bottled single barrel and cask strength after
aging in new French oak casks for a minimum of 4 years. Depending on the barrel, the bourbon hovers around 120 proof, with a mash bill of 71% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley.

Reacting to the news, LBC Founder, Greg Keeley commented. “To earn a gold medal from the
American Distilling Institute in our first year is mind-blowing. I am so proud of our small team
and thankful for the support of the Anderson County community. There are some exciting
developments coming from LBC, so please stick with us.”

“Since 2007, ADI has upheld the highest standards in the industry by giving our judges the
freedom to only award the very best,” said Erik Zandonna, Director of the ADI International
Spirits Competition.

Another National Gold Medal for
Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co.

Lawrenceburg Bourbon Company has been awarded a second national Gold Medal, this time by the American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA), in the 2023 Heartland USA Whiskey Competition. The LBC One Cask Bourbon scored 95 points from the judging panel.

Nationally, only 12 whiskeys were awarded a gold medal, while 74 received silver, and 47 bronze. “It is important to recognize craft distillers, an industry that relies on the corn we grow, have sustained their businesses through trying times and continue to improve an already excellent product,” stated Brent Hoerr, Missouri Corn Council chairman.

Lawrenceburg’s One Cask is single barrel, cask strength, Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. It is the second Gold Medal for Lawrenceburg Bourbon, on the heels of the American Distilling Institute, International Spirits gold award.

“The team at Lawrenceburg Bourbon is particularly proud of the ACSA gold medal. Corn is absolutely integral to our craft, which is why we will strive to support local Anderson County farmers at every turn”, said Greg Keeley, LBC Founder and CEO. “To be awarded one of just twelve golds’, out of hundreds of entries from around the country, suggests folks appreciate our “born to fight” approach to whiskey making”.

The judging was open to craft whiskeys from all 50 states that incorporate corn in their mash bill. The 2023 competition saw significant growth in the number of participating states and entries which greatly increased competition for medals.
